Meetings
Club Meetings – As a result of the COVID pandemic, our regular restaurant where our lunch meetings were held has closed. We are currently in search of a new home and are temporarily meeting in-person on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 12:00 at The Smokehouse, 3115 Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley.
On the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, we hold virtual online meetings at 5:00. Contact Secretary Jeff Egeberg at (415) 250-2787 to attend or for further information. If you cannot make our meetings, email us to talk about serving our community!
Evening Meetings – The Club's past practice has been to hold evening meetings once a month to accommodate members who have conflicts during the day. Evening meetings have suspended during the pandemic -- watch for announcements about starting up again.
Interclub Meetings – Member also have the opportunity to visit other Kiwanis Clubs! They're fun, and you get to meet many other Kiwanians all over the world! A group of four makes an interclub! We are in the habit of winning the Division Interclub activity award each year.

Projects
Service– Our Club’s focus is to serve the community, particularly its youth. We sponsor clubs for students of UC Berkeley (Circle K), as well as Berkeley and Oakland Tech High Schools (Key Clubs). Members participate in service projects and fund-raising activities to provide funding for these projects and services. Through our public charity, The Kiwanis Club of Berkeley Foundation [(501(c)(3)], we award scholastic scholarships (~$40K total per year) to graduating seniors from Berkeley, Albany and El Cerrito High Schools, and also summer camp music scholarships.
Fundraising– Operating costs of the Club are covered through dues and Happy/Sad Dollars (Administrative Budget). All funds raised from the public (net of direct project expenses) are returned to the community through projects and contributions(Service Budget).
